Sadly this isn't something "new" in the Internet gaming world. Back in the glorious stone age, people gathered around Habbo Hotel and yours truly was a young and dumb little girl thinking everyone was nice. Gave away my account info and saw all my items were gone. This can and will happen to you if you share your account information with anyone who isn't either your parents or legal guardians. I have sadly read about players who has sadly lost everything to scammers, so warning to you all, be careful with who you share your account information with as well as your real life name, age and location. That might have been safe back in the early 2000 but not anymore sadly

Well tbh if you entrust a complete and total stranger with your info (whether that’s users/pws, phone #’s, etc) then you have to know what risks you’re taking. Even back when it wasn’t so bad there was still the possibility that someone could take advantage of your trust. At least it’s not doing much harm though

@@leafygreen9036 when you are a young naive girl thinking the world is filled with rainbows and sparkly unicorns. You dont often think twice regarding someone offering you furniture (or star coins in the sso world) because someone gives it out for free. That episode thought me a valuable lesson of not giving it away. Back then in the glorious stone age it wasnt widespread with internet safety, we all didnt know about the creepy people hiding behind a screen, I found out about them later in my life though school, media and so on. I shared my habbo story so that people might be more careful regarding inpersination, offering free stuff and so on. I know i screwed up big times back then when i was dumb enough to give away my log in info. Lost the 3 furniture items i had, but it learned me not to trust a soul in the internet world. Heck ive encountered tp this day people who wants to "borrow" my sso account to visit lets say Valedale. I say politelt no before reporting it to sso. This is what everyone should do before thinking twice about giving info away

I gave my best friend my login info because I trusted her and she was my best friend, she stole all my good items ( this was on animal jam ) so she traded all of my items to her account. A while after that happened, I made the mistake of giving her and another friend my login for movie star planet. At first I thought it was the other friend, because I trusted her less. Then I went into my transactions and saw that I gave my best friend A LOT of gifts ( all of my good items ) I realised that I’m a selfish bitch and would never gift away my good items. She’s still my best friend but I don’t trust her as much and never give my login info to anyone. I have learned 😂

Personally, I never believe if someone’s a SSO KZbinr or SSO Employee unless their username is, for example, Elizabeth Rivrland because then I obviously believe them. But, a lot of my friends seem to struggle with this and I’ve heard them tell me that they met a youtuber and could bring me to them (surprise, it wasn’t the real person). I will definitely be linking and telling people about this video. Thanks for making such an awesome, helpful, and truthful post, Iza! ♥️

I'm so glad you updated the new player horses. They look much better and familiar to other horses. It makes them look a little more experienced. The horses just look fresher and newer and they look a little better then the old ones. However, this now means that the old horses are gonna be rarer. This will affect the game. But now when people see the old horses, they will know that people are more experienced and have played a while

One day I was on Sso, then I saw someone in the Say chat talking about a video, so I asked them: What is your youtube channel? They replied with the answer of: Honey Hearts C then awhile later she said: No, it is Star Stable Updates actually. So I immediately deleted them as a friend. And if you friended me I would've said: "Erm….really? I don't believe you, there are a lot of imposters in this game." Then I would unfriend you. xD Love the video!

Storytime: There was a person going around asking people for their account details, they said it to me and I just ignored them, I unignored them after and seen them asking someone else, I confronted the victim and explained what they were doing and not to give anything personal out, they said their mum was gonna ban my account etc and other rude things to me, i ignored them, im just happy because I stopped someone from getting their account hacked xx

I never have that problem because I'm in an Aussie server, but lots of newbies ask me for thousands of star coins, obviously expecting that I'll give them what they want because I'm nice. It also seems that many people don't have star rider and want me to buy it for them. I will only ever buy anything for someone on sso if it is a close friend and they are in my house while playing so I know its them. I advise that you do not share any personal info or try to buy something for someone because you never know and they might be a scammer. Unfortunately this issue and common now therefore, we all need to keep our personal info hidden because even sharing your name could put you in danger.

It’s not odd, we get a lot of friend requests every day and ignore them. Also most of the non star riders don’t have very good framer and only want to RP, so there tends to be some ignorant to those people. And it is not everyone, but quite a few and it might ruin it for other who just want a friend.
