BY THE BEARD OF OPS HIMSELF! I'm THE go to guy for new bands among my friends, the one who's into all the 'undiscovered' stuff in the metal world. I've had progressive sounds coming out of my arse since 1998 and I was the FIRST guy to say "I bet they'll do pretty well" when Haken put out their first album. I've been listening to prog all my life and especially with in the past 10 years I know plini, modern day Babylon, covet, and so many other bands. But apparently KZbin never put this in the algorithm until today. Smh this shit is off the chain! Guitar playing and tone is perfect. Drums sound amazing programmed or not idk but some complex parts there. Amazing 13/10

I'm reading a lot of comments on different vids...and not seeing Angel pop up. if you've never experienced Angel Vivaldi...check em out. great stuff. my favorite. but these guys...Owane, Sithu, Widek, all of em r pure badassery. I like how Starsystems has parts of their music sounding a lot like Children of Bodm without Alexi n vocals. I love instrumentals!

Haha, I thought this would get brought up. I actually wrote this riff long before I'd heard of Polyphia, and one day I was showing it to my friend and he pointed out that it sounded really similar to the riff in James Franco. It actually got me pretty worried that it was going to sound like I ripped them off and I considered changing it up a bit for that reason. In the end I stuck with it though, and hey I wouldn't have discovered how great Polyphia was if it wasn't for that!

StarSystems No matter what, there's always going to be similarity in the sound of music, there's so much of it out there. Either way, this is unique as fuck. At the beginning I sensed a similarity to some Children Of Bodom in all honesty haha. It's so good to listen to though, a mixture of relaxing and heavy at the same time. Kudos to you!

Honestly, I feel like turning that final compressor to a smaller ratio would help. The volume dips every time the bass drum hits. That would let the cymbals shine more, it would relieve the crunch on the ambient tracks, and it would bring the guitars up too.
