Your video truly resonates with so many stylists out there, including me! It's so empowering to hear that mastering a specialty like lived-in color doesn't have to take years. I love how you break down the importance of focused practice and content creation. It’s such a game changer for building confidence and attracting the right clients. Your journey is incredibly inspiring, and I can’t wait to try what you shared here. Thank you for posting!

Things have come so full circle since I started my business in the 1990’s & did this (lived in Color used to just be called multi-dimensional). I thought everyone was crazy when Balayage (I learned that in Toronto, CA back in the 1980’s) came back and young people were doing multiple visits when I could do it in one as an expert corrective colorist who knew different. Also, the clients hair left amazing & in great shape. I opened up my Salon 29 years ago after only 3 years out of Private Cosmetology school. I traveled & paid for classes to get the skill set I needed. All these years later if I’m not teaching others, I still go to classes. However, making money when you’re young & can work all the time or a few days a week but hard is very different than long term success…that’s where experience comes in, keeping it. You’ll see. Just when you think ya know something the rule book (like COVID) changes everything. Lol
