Hey everyone, I thought I'd make a new dormitory guide for Punishing: Gray Raven. I talk here about the best furniture to craft and which ones you should avoid. I also go over the benefits of crafting smaller furniture and the Importance of S-Rank Furniture. How efficient they can be and how much cheaper they are.

Thanks for the very detailed guide! Was looking through PGR dorm guides and came across one before this showing a sofa method and went with that before seeing this video, should I continue using the sofa method or is this more efficient? I'm afraid my progress with the sofas may set me back, but am still willing to try this method if it's better than the one I'm using right now since I'll keep at it for those sweet sweet coatings.

I heard that you should also refit the base decor and get them to Arank before using blueprints on them as they increase the amount of stats the decor has after modification. Is that true?

Refitting decor to get them to A-rank does not increase the amount of stats however based on my experiences it does increase your chances of crafting into S ranks with additional effects when using blueprints. Although using an A-Rank may increase chances of crafting into an S-Rank when using blueprints I really do not recommend wasting your resources into trying to get an A-Rank first every single time before you start using blueprints as it's very time consuming, however you can if you have the resources.

i was just about to go ahead with the sofa method but then came across this one which seems a lot better. thanks a bunch! you showed your dorm and said you have good gift/stam recovery with the current amount of small objects, but what if you completely filled the room with small objects with the buffs? would it go astronomically high, or does it cap at a certain point?

I haven't tried, however, my current dorm stats are in the mid 20's and I have plenty of room to spare. There doesn't seem to be a cap at the moment so I think you could probably reach into the 30's with this method

When building decors, do i put 10 points to the stat that the constructs in a particular dorm wants?

Focus on whichever the dominant stat is for the dorm your working on, so yes. The second stat will pretty much be complete by the time you get the dominant stat maxed out first.

It should. I don't think they changed the S-Rank rates for the smaller decor

How do I move a construct to another dormitory?

So when you first enter the dorm screen, look at the bottom right icon that says "Members," that will take you to a different menu showing all your constructs. From there you can just tap on which constructs you want to move and to which dorm. Hope this helps

How does this compare to stacking sofas?

Stacking consumes a ton of space! Yes, you may increase your decor preference lvl a bit faster, however, the stat bonuses won't be that great. When you put your constructs to work, they will recover their mood much slower compared to using my method of the smaller S-Rank decor. It's extremely beneficial for managing space in the long run and on top of that you get the 5% - 15% mood and recovery bonuses. My current dorm provides about 23-25 in Mood and Stamina recovery per hour, so even after putting my constructs to work, they are fully charged in less then 2-3 hours. This means I can collect dorm coins more efficiently if my constructs are pretty much topped off at all times.

@@okers12 So when you craft decor, there is a chance you craft A-Rank(purple) or S-Rank decor(yellow) with bonus effects such as 5% - 15% increase in mood or stamina recovery. The S-Rank decor has a higher chance to have these bonuses when you craft them. If you craft a large amount of decor that have these additional bonuses this is where you can get 20+ mood and stamina recovery since they stack. I'll be making an updated video on this soon to explain in better detail.

So how many coins exactly you get per day. I never had any issue with mood it's always full

The amount of coins you can get varies depending on how many constructs you have and how often you check in. But on occasion I do get around 10 to 15 coins per day if I'm lucky. It's also important to note that I don't check in very often and I don't have the max amount of contracts yet

@@crimsonaccel7764 I have 8 rooms, I get 3 coins on the first login, and later they give me 5 coins. If I did the daily missions I get another 3, so 11 in total.

Yeah, coins are the real end game though. It's the reason it's such a hassle. If they were easier to get, people wouldn't spend nearly as much for skins.
