Hi. New here. Just did my iron after my first cut three weeks ago on setting 3 so nice and low. Now it’s pure dark green and 5” high. I live in Hertfordshire Leavesden and we have has so much rain it did the grass and iron so good. I only feed when the weather is really rainy as it saves the sprinklers going on

Regarding the allett, look at the engine from the back at the bottom and you'll see a silver bowl with a nut underneath it. Undo the nut until fuel comes out, tighten it back up and it'll most likely start. I have to do it to mine after every winter and a couple of times through the season 👍 lawns looking mint 👌

@@bullseyeant Hi chap , thanks for this comment to try, I have decided to look out for a Atco balmoral 14SK. Believe it’s the same engine has Daniels. Would that be same case for that model engine? I only ask because I want to be mindful of the fuel over the winter, So the easier I can remove the fuel , the better. 👍🏻

@@leefenton9477 You could run it out of fuel just before winter but I just leave mine with fuel in then undo the nut under the bowl to get fuel through, works for me.

The thing that makes me wonder is the cost of what's just been done ?.I know most folk would say it's rude to ask how much but how do we know we're getting value where we stay with other companies. In my eyes the finish is what I would expect in his work.He knows his stuff and how to follow threw with it.Just would like to know a price. Not the exact figure but a close idea.Sorry if it sounds rude not what's intended just curious to pricing.Anyways grass looks neat and lines always makes it more catching and pleasing to the eye.

@@DanielHibbertLawnExpert I understand it cost ME nothing. What my point was do you do this as a business or a hobby. My reason for asking is it could have cost £60 for what you done for the time and effort you put in and to even show where there was an mistake made but for the same thing where I stay could cost £160 but doesn't have the same result.I have a great interest in lawn care and have nothing but respect for you all to achieve the results.Your knowledge is also a great asset to someone that wants to further themselves in lawn care.I do apologise for being rude asking about money but I am not specifically asking what did you earn off that job but just generally what would customers expect to pay for that work from a business in your area that wasn't you doing it if that makes sense.A guesstimation if you like.

@@DanielHibbertLawnExpert got 3.5 tons down with the rest as spare for later in the year. Followed your methods: cut short, scarified, over-seed and levelled with the 70/30. 70/30 was incredible stuff. Superfine and really easy to spread but when down and watered you can see the soil in it (which is invisible when dry and bagged up). I was shattered so kudos to you for doing this regularly. Waiting for new shoots and then I’ll apply SOW PRO and Steller. Thanks again.
