To everyone who's studying with this music: Checklist: • A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧 • Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋 • Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late-night study session, you won't wake up anyone🎧 • a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕ • Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone, a few pens, paper, or whatever you need.⌨ •Anything else you could need, what about a heating pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈 Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me. You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book. I hope y'all had a good day, if not, that's okay too. @@puddleduck1405 First years are pretty tough, since you have to study mainly the basics for engineering(Calculus, algebra, physics etc..). The fun part begins with the courses in the final years, such as aerodynamics, space propulsion or satellite navigation, and (depending on your University) much more laboratory practice. Make sure when the time comes that you are choosing something you are really passionate about. It makes a huge difference if you enjoy what you are studying, otherwise it's going to be very hard.

I see some people here saying things along the lines of "you are perfect the way you are", and while I can see the intent behind it, I think that's bad advice. Listen, you're not perfect. Maybe you're not even what you would consider good. Maybe you're average, or straight up bad. That's fine. Look at yourself and around yourself and see it as it is. Don't glamorize it. Make an X-Ray. See what's good, what's lacking, what's plentiful, what could be used better, what you overuse. There is always space to improve. Get to work. Small and steady does it. Take the first step, even if it means analyzing your situation. Brainstorm. Research. Look for options you didn't consider before. Evaluate. Speculate on each aspect, find its possible outcomes. Decide on a direction and move. You're not perfect, that's the bad news. You have space to improve, that's the good news.
