Donna, I believe those are Cardinals rather than Red Robins. LOL I know quilt shops like yours carry and sell a lot of pre-cuts, but I wish you would consider those of us who can't afford, or don't want to buy pre-cuts. Can you please do projects once in awhile that use yardage, or only 3 to 5 colors, instead of the scrappy pre-cut look? Thanks for all you do. I save all your videos and recommend them to others all the time.

Those placemats are so fun and really seem achievable. I have some extra charm packs laying around and I might give them a go! Thanks for a great tutorial. I also want to say I recently spoke to Cheryl at your store during the Summer Sale (I believe that is what it was) and she was so helpful with an issue I was having with the website. I am so thankful for how she treated me over the phone; I felt like I was standing right there in the store with her. And my items came so quickly in the mail! I love the quilt you have for the giveaway! I remember when you did the tutorial. It really caught my eye then! So beautiful!

Beautiful placemats! I've been wanting to make some, but wanted a nice pattern. This is the one! I did have to laugh a bit when you said you liked the "red robin" in the center of one of the charm squares. That's actually a male cardinal, one of my favorite birds. Plus, the cardinal is the state bird of Ohio, which is my state!

Donna 😁 I may not be the first to comment on your bird "slip" but the "red robin" is known as a "red cardinal" here in PA ❣ When my brother and I dropped in on you all there in Grants Pass earlier this spring, you and Matt were sooo very thoughtful! I purchased material to make placemats for the family we were visiting and NOW I know how! LOL 😎 Thanks for your time and consideration 💕💕 🐝LaBj of PA, USA 🐝

Hi Donna! Love your videos!! I’m new to all of this, and usually feel inadequate when marking blocks on the diagonal or even ironing.... do you have any tips to A. Be able to mark directly corner to corner ..not off a “smidge” the way mine turn out....and B. Not get valleys when you iron...even when I finger press first! I’m getting discouraged....like I’ll never learn to sew/quilt...😔 I soooo want to be successful....any advice please?! Thanks in advance, Jen
