START TO FINISH VINTAGE JUNK JOURNAL IN UNDER 2 HOURS USING REAL VINTAGE EPHEMERA!

Hi guys, Today's video is a long one, so thank you for your patience! I'm creating a vintage junk journal from start to finish in just under 2 hours. I’ve challenged myself to only use real vintage ephemera and a limited selection of supplies that I picked out beforehand. Throughout the process, I’ll be embellishing the pages with pockets, collages, and other unique touches. I so love this process! I love how you take out random things and you are already able to see or imagine what you'd like to do with them. When I try to do the same, I stare at the two pieces of paper for minutes, and then I take them and store back to where they came. 😂

Hey Margreth - someone probably already told you that John Muir was directly involved in establishing the Grand Canyon National Park in 1908. Muir is often called the Father of America’s National Park System. So, I guess China knew a little bit about him. 🤷‍♀️. Pretty amazing! I, too, thought most of the stamps were just filled with nonsense. Your journal is awesome - of course!! ❤

Turned out great! Wish i had original docs and had saved some from my parents. I’ll look in Etsy and Ebay to purchase some. I’ve grown to love the color Orange-red and i also love writing letters so stamps etc are great! Did you know the color orange is associated with organizing? My OC dad loved orange. I say I am a disorganized organized person. 😂

hello Margreth lovie! Great junjournal! Would probably take me a week though haha. I got this ide to make something from measuring tapes. I bought them for absolutely nothing and I want to grunge them up a bit and use them as tag toppers, tags etc , cut up like snippets and I think that would be lovely. Talked to Toni about it. I don´t have alcohol inks yet, but I think that might be the easiest way to grunge. But I will, when my health allows me to, experiment a but. I have a post on my instagram about this. Just wanted to share this, I think it could turn out to be an amazing embellishment. I have had quite the year and my energy has not been there to make jurnal with cover and all. I have signatures and quite the stash of ephemera, now due to cooler weater i got to make my first junkjournal all the way. I am so excited, I pray my illness will calm down a bit so I can craft.
