The starter clutch is a PITA to do. Hope it's the battery. When mine went bad it would kind of do the same thing but often was accompanied by loud metal banging sounds. You want to check your valve clearances. My bike would start every time just pushing the button. The carbs are cheap on these bikes. You usually just buy a new one. No rebuilding. Something to keep in mind the "fuel pump" isn't a pump. It's a vacuum actuated valve so it just might be starving for fuel because it starts fueling when you start cranking. It should idle up and drop down after a few minutes. If the idle is the same when you start it and the same after warm up it's probably the enricher.

Thank you. Hopefully I don't need to mess with the starter clutch yet. Not sure if that's what it is. The Battery is like new, only a few months of use. I do think the Enricher is not working, so just holding the throttle a few seconds till its warmed up. I do have a back up carburator I bought, but I am just waiting to change it out since the carb it came with seems to be set and working good besides the Enricher. I have not looked at the valves yet but seems they are set pretty well. RPM's are where they should be and runs good. After my first 1,000 miles or so I might check the valves out. I am thinking it probably needs a starter clutch, but since it is a new scooter I will try and hold off on pulling it apart, at least until it gives me issues starting. Right now it usually starts on the second or third try. Thanks for all the info

If you have a warranty, you should take it to the dealership and tell them to fix the junk they sold you. A Honda will run forever. The Chinese do not take the same pride in their work. It's a throw away system. I have a couple extra engines,a pile of brand new electrical parts that came out of the package not working. Good luck getting customers service to right any of those wrongs. I hope your experience is different than mine, but it ain't looking good. Buy a Honda. Good luck 🤞🏻. 😂

Thanks for the info 👍 I figured it would idle higher than it does when I first start it up, but seems to idle higher after it's warmed up
