Good job but I think to skinny and I would have started with lil shorter hair,cuz long hair get real frizzy when trying loc,im on my 4th set of locs since 2000,but my is more thick n knoty lol,it'd probably be a good yr intill they actually loc up for him🤷🏾‍♂️,I start long hair in 2015 n took a almost a full yr to loc then I cut em in 2019 and started them again in 2020 on November lol,but were you located?

how long does it take you to do a full head of dreads using the comb twist method? Is it faster than using a crochet needle?

It always depends on size , density length of the hair . Some times yes sometimes no . Sometimes and 1hr sometimes 4 . It just depends. It’s a case by case situation

I am samoan and have 3a-b mixed hair. I want to start dreadlocs as 2 strand twist. Do I just continue with a monthly retwist and they will loc? They have kept shape well with just gel, not locing gel. So I wonder if they will stay

They will loc with monthly maintenance. After they show budding, you can do maintenance every 4-6 or 6-8 weeks
