Take air filter all the way off and everything connected after you disconnect the battery and release it from the transmission and then or before disconnect from wire, this hurt to watch.

I actually tried to do this job on 2013 dodge caravan but the problem is I couldn't get to the 13 mm bolt and the catalytic converter was preventing the starter from.coming out, I thought I have to remove the whole catalytic. Converter, but now you show the the wrench trick I think I am go and get it done.thanks for the video.

Why every one going though bottom, just take off all of the air intake and you can replace from there

I've done this job about a year and a half ago, but now I'm doing it again. Entire process was easy the 2nd go around, until I got to the part to take the starter out. On my 2014 Avenger, the heat shield for the catalytic converter is preventing me from getting it out. The last time I did this job, I was able to get the 2-piece heat shield off. This time, I forgot how I got the last shield out of the way. It's detatched from the CC, but I can't get it out.. The wrench trick does work for the starter wire ( I used a 12 mm wrench ). It's just that damn heat shield. If I can get that off, the starter will come right out of the bottom of the vehicle pretty easy.
