This is very similar to mine. I set up a 75 gallon as a coral tank around December 1st. I have 3 small soft corals in mine now. I do have my inverts and 4 fish. Very interested to see yours as time goes on.

What kind of lights are those on the main tank? Also any other pictures or plans for that canopy? Building my 40Gbreeder stand now.

Sounds like the current USA line of lights. In my experience with 40 breeders and those 36” lights, you’ll want 2 trust me!!!

@@CoralReefkid how are those lights compared to other big brand names. I’ve never heard of them.

@@tommycristaldi9037 ask any questions you have, I know a lot about them. in the future I’m posting an honest video review on them. But for spoiler, in my honest opinion they’re not the best for anyone looking to grow the harder sps corals long term but most softies and certain lps corals you can get away with. They don’t grow things super quickly but it does grow corals, I suggested two because I only had one on my 40 breeder, perhaps two at mid intensity but mostly in the blue side of the spectrum is better spread hence perhaps you may have some luck with just about anything besides acropora or other super sensitive photosynthetic sps corals. But on the contrary, if you’re willing to hang a light over the tank I have the Mars aqua 300w 36” fixture over my current tank, I must say I love it and it’s half the price of two current USA’s. It hangs 3ft over a 55 gallon at half intensity and I’m growing acropora... I could only imagine how great this thing would look over a 40 breeder. It just lacks a lot of the customization that the currents had via remote... end of the day choice is yours but I’d say if money is an issue definitely these two choices would do good. But if you’re willing to save money and wait I’m gonna suggest skip all the risk and potential troubles and just go with a high quality light like a Radion or AI primes, because absolutely nothing compares to those two. It’s expensive for a reason and you get what you pay for with reefing.

Good eye. He passed away. Sad day. I am going to try a Royal Gamma instead of the Firefish.

@@Hunter-qf9cd I think he had parasites, but I will never know. The tanks NO3 is about 5, no ammonia, and pH is 8. So who knows. I know Firefish are suppose to be hardy so maybe I just have bad luck.
