Starting 13 YEAR old Bajaj platina after 10 months | Old Bajaj platina | jatinsharmavlogs

Hi guys,
In this video I am sharing how this Old Bajaj platina has surprised me. It was almost after 10 months I started this bike and in one kick it started. No problem even after 13 years. Little bit of cleaning and it was all good to ride.

Tell you what.. you got amazing vid skills. It's just not the clarity etc ,but avoiding irritating songs, and even if u have a song, the way you seam it in and also letting us hear the engine and a matured way of talking. All this need good culture. Really nice man.. monkeys out there who ruin vids with harsh songs, and unnecessary rambling should learn from your kind of vids..

You've just started after 10 months, I made it after more than a year, and that too in winters.. Old is gold, literally 😇. I've CT 100 2015 (same engine as this bike) and left abandoned for more than a year (around 14 months) in garage when I was unable to drive (accident) and then after , in winters (November) I bring it out and, of course, one kick start in 😎🫡. But a big mistake by me, I've drove it with low (nearly empty) engine oil in it 😢.. best part.. it's still in it's original condition, no any engine work needed other than a clutch plate change at 63k km,. it had no any engine overhaul at 81 k+ km till today 😎 salute to old superior quality 🫡

My dad have 2007 model it is actual same of my age and from 2007 expect holidays it runs 100 km per day and still in very good condition and just my dad give normal service after every 2 months of oiling and washing and it's engine got repair only one time in 14 years 5 months as it buyed in nov 2007

I have 2007 model platina. The 4s boxer engine is the most reliable engine. After so many years only a little smoke at very high rpm(which is useless). No vibrations. Nowadays bajaj bikes are very bad in engine quality. They get seized very easily. By the way it was cheaper in purchase price than my current phone 😂 Those were the good days

Does your platina increases rpm when choke is used ? I too own a platina 2006 model, when I use the choke for the cold start rpm decreases and doesn't turn on, after releasing the choke and Kick start it engine runs as though petrol is flooding inside the engine.

Hi dear , thanks for watching and sharing your question. In my platina there is no rpm meter so I am not a are of if choke makes the bike run at higher rpm. In my understanding choke increases fuel flow however not sure if it impacts engine rpm. It does not sound to be an issue in my knowledge

Please tell me the Recommended engine oil and oil grade for this machine...I have 2012 model of the same

Bro, I have never looked at the engine oil brand or grade for Platina. It is such a rugged and tough machine that does not need any special maintenance. However I would recommend you to use oil what service center uses. Visiting to service centre would be a good idea. Not sure if I helped you with your question.

@@Jatinsharmafamily Actually the user manual of my bike is missing and somewhere I came to know that it's recommended grade for BS3 model is 20w40 whereas for BS4 & BS6 model, it is 10W30. Kindly do some research and let me know the same about our model..
