Another awesome video Ross! I've had my original x100 for a few months now and finding someone like yourself highlighting the awesome images it creates is super inspiring! Hopefully see more x100 content from you in 2024!

I have my dad's black paint X100. He took thousands of family photos with it. I shoot it in monochrome-Y with a 20% cinebloom using only the OVF. I don't look at the pics until on the computer -- sorta like film. Like my dad in life, it’s stubborn but reliable, charming -- but fussy. The sum is greater than its parts. Legendary camera that started it all. I love my X100V and my monster GFX100S, but the OG X100 is part of why those later cameras even exist.

I have the original x100 that I purchased as soon as it came out. I used it extensively for years and then put it aside as other cameras came out. About 3 years ago I had it IR converted and the results are FANTASTIC. It was the first IR conversion of an original x100 the company did and they did not know how it would come out. As it turns out the lens has NO hot spots, which when present is a real problem for IR converted cameras. The facts that camera does not have hot spots and it is so pocketable are reasons people should pick up the original and get it IR converted. All the best.

I owned the X100, X100F & X100V and sold them all, but wish I would have kept the original X100... It 's such a great camera and the images I took with it are amongst my fav. If you find one now the prices are just stupid...

Thanks for the comment. Why did you sell them??

@@rossandhisjpegs I sold all my Fuji gear and now shoot with a Leica M10 & Q and very happy with that change.

Hi Ross, thanks for all the brilliant x100 videos. Owned one since 2013 when you still had to sell a kidney to afford one and decided to dust it off again after 5 years of not using it. Anyway, came across your videos and they are a great inspiration and just the kick-start I needed to go out shooting again after all that time. Cheers! 😊

I still love my X100 original. It takes the best flash shots indoors with the shutter @ 1/125. It just gets the colors right. I will admit i am in love with my X-E1 a bit more right now

I owned that one and no matter what SD card I used it would very frequently lock up after taking a few pictures having to turn the camera off and back on again. Very sad and frustrating. Replaced it with a Ricoh GR and GRiiiX. I like the handling of the X100 better so I bought the X100vi

Interesting. I know mine won't accept SD cards bigger than 64gb. Enjoy your VI!

Thanks for sharing such valuable information! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (air carpet target dish off jeans toilet sweet piano spoil fruit essay). What's the best way to send them to Binance?

Good vid and shots again….one thing I would challenge..least here in the UK and that is saying you can buy one for £200, double that and I’d agree :)
