im glad im not the only one struggling to get under the ball and i play at high 70s ego. i feel it’s harder to hit in this game than 3. i feel it’s more rewarding but i was playing h2h wit my buddy, in 3 i was better than him but in 4 he beats me bc he can drive the ball, any tips?

All about choosing the right pitch to go after and squaring it up. Practice with that mindset and you'll get better

Team looks pretty solid, wild that there was only 1 strikeout that whole game considering the low score I did a shuffle franchise, I managed to get Bloop Michaels, Sakda Song, Jack Cracker and Perry Quakers bats all in the same lineup (although the rest of the team is pretty rough, Defensive specialists with no pitching) Anyways first game I hit 4 dingers 2 with michaels and won 9-2, hoping to continue that haha

@@longballhq3128 Lmaoo nothing about your team is bad, but if I had a concern it would probably be starting pitching & contact hitting. My bullpen & garbage defense almost took my team out of the playoffs. Only Ozzie Smith & Junior Young Sr had capable gloves for me & it surely backfired. You actually drafted pretty good for the present & future.

Yeah they're meant to be balanced against each other, plus it's redrafted so the balance should work itself out

Longball what sensitivity do you play on. I play on 42 at 85 ego and sometimes it feels impossible to drag the pitching reticle to the right spot when using a 40 accuracy pitcher or lower.

it's at 50, I've never played around with changing it. Sometimes it actually is impossible with low accuracy guys. You just have to try to miss somewhere you won't get punished

I've been watching your videos lately getting hyped for SMB4, and noticed that your reticle often had the speed to get to the right location (I also of course noticed that your skill in terms of pitching accurately is incredible, like holy shit). I think I'll just have to bite the bullet on my batting muscle memory and go up to 50. I really wish SMB4 added a feature to set separate sensitivities. If the devs at metalhead ever reach out to you for whatever reason, throw that request at 'em for me ;) Looking forward to following this franchise with you man. I honestly can't wait to see you finish this season and see how you handle the new offseason mechanics.

@@longballhq3128 I took a different approach to drafting pitchers. I mainly focused on the players who stood out in one attribute. Maybe 90+ velocity but low junk an accuracy and so on. The high accuracy guys I use if I just wanna paint those corners. Its fun using the various pitching extremes
