Just needed one other person to confirm it. You can get your NEW city to a positive balance but unemployment will be obnoxiously high. Its really hard to fill jobs without just plopping too much industry.

YES! Unemployment is INSANELY high and feels impossible to provide enough jobs.

I had so much trouble making a new city until I found out about the unemployment rate being so high and that I could literally just lower taxes on businesses and industry to encourage more to build to fill out the jobs and bring the balance positive. Sometimes you have to lower taxes to make more money funnily enough.

jobs seem bugged to hell as well as parking which half the time seems to be free

There's definitely still a lot broken with the game, which makes it hard to enjoy at times. I hope they can polish it up soon.

Livestock doesn't need fertile land, so you are wasting the fertile space there! :D

@@CesarsHideout Yea I went ahead and just disabled tile cost since my play through is already modded - BUT my next city will definitely be built with these mechanics in mind... cant wait to see more from you my friend.

Thanks for this I have had the game since launch but have yet to start it because of....well We all know why. This seems to be the update that most people (content creators) like however they are mostly continuing/fixing their existing cities and I have zero idea how to play CS2 and I don't think my 1k hours in CS1 is going to help all that much.
