My perfectionist brain can't cope with this game yet. The path approach, that's how every single city is looking and it drives me absolutely insane, the redundant foot paths. But at least the grids look good 👍

I remember in SimCity2000 buildings which survived for 50 game years turned into "historical buildings" and looked fantastic. I wish that mechanic would be implemented in CS2

Great to see you back in action, I was following your brilliant CS1 tutorial series for beginners and learned a lot, however CS2 seems to be a complete new nut to crack... I always run into the same issues once reaching 60k population. At that time my industry is falling apart as suddenly, suitability becomes red in the area and industry buildings get abandoned. Also finding the best highway network and build intersections is still a struggle... good to see you back with a new series, I guess I'll follow this along as well as I enjoy the way you build and explain ^^

Love your stuff! Big question -- Why SO MUCH so early, right off the bat? You mention at the start that CS2 has a slower more realistic growth pace, but you went ham on laying pavement before hitting "play" ... Why is that? I'd definitely not do that in CS1 but am totally still figuring out CS2 Looking super forward to binging this series! Thanks!

Haven't been following the state of the game since launch but is it playable now? On launch it was just ripe with technical issues that made it unplayable. Is it it a technically sound state now?

Given the name of the city is called Tampere right now, how about Tampa? While this city is totally different from Tampa Florida, it turns out there are two other towns called Tampa in the U.S. One is Tampa Colorado (which is unincorporated) and the second is Tampa Kansas (which had a population of 108 in 2021).
