As it’s based on Massachusetts.. I think it would be beneficial to have some puritan inspired city names. For example, Cromwell which is named after Olivier Cromwell who was an English military and political leader that happened to be a puritan. Also Newbury, as it was settled by puritans.

On the old bridge pillions, add a pedestrian road that goes out to the first one as like a viewing deck. A lot of times old infrastructure is repurposed for pedestrian use. Like the elevated tracks in NYC that became a park for example

How about Fort John. A fort established in the 1600s for revolutionary war uses, most famous for taking down 8 british ships in a day, taken down somewhere in the 1800s due to lack of employment, and fires, and later bought by private investors, and rebuilt as a city. Great video by the way.

That island is tiny for a mid-sized city methinks. Maybe some land reclamation ala Boston is in the horizon? Hopefully, it's gonna be awful cramped otherwise. As for name suggestions, I think something that sounds british like Oxford, Plymouth, Manchester, etc would fit the area and city perfectly.

Oak Lock was founded in the early 1800s on an oak-covered island. Though accessible by boat, train, and road, the city remains "locked" by its island setting. The name reflects both the dense oak forests and its unique, isolated charm. Today, Oak Lock thrives with a rich history and a distinct identity shaped by its beautiful, self-contained landscape.

Congrats on making this video. I know it took a while and you’re pretty busy right now. I wish you and you fiancée/future wife the best of luck in years to come. And I think the new town should be called Ø by its danish for Island town. It was founded by a Danish person Alfred Anderson. Alfred loved living on islands which inspired him to come to America during when it was being colonized in the 1600s. Since the British claimed most of the East coast Massachusetts islands were not claimed by anybody. So Alfred and a few danish citizens went together and claimed this island and named it Ø by. They built a few houses and an elementary school which he named after his daughter. Olivia elementary. In 1724, Anderson died and in his honor they named the high school after his last name. Anderson high school.

Baleia, Massachusetts. Massachusetts and Rhode Island have a large Portuguese demographic, primarily near their coastal border. When Portuguese Immigrants sailed from Portugal to New England, many took whaling ships, which sometimes stopped to hunt a whale. Portuguese Immigrants took note of this, and when they began establishing their own communities, many were named after the whales, including Baleia, which is just Portuguese for whale. edit: also a nice break from english names
