SEO is very important and not mentioned alot in our space. Search engine optimization is how a site gets found by search engines and thus people. It's not scammy though in old days many manipulated it to get traffic to websites. Basic things like if you want local clients having your address somewhere or at least town name, having that in footer. Having title tags, and page names that are descriptive.
