how do u do your thumnails like that

it’s a tedious process. take a screen grab of myself some point in the video. take that photo and put it in Canva to separate myself from the background. export it as transparent in a very high quality. take that and put it in Photoshop. I make an adjustment to get the photo black and white, add some grain to it then export it from Photoshop as a transparent .png. Then we go back to Canva and upload it to the thumbnail template. This consists of the brand Blue color as the background, then the Logo at the top and the secondary logo at the bottom. I input the photo and crop it to the side leaving enough space for the text i’m about to add. I don’t add the text in Canva though. I go to Adobe Illustrator and create the text with a specific font I like and then I export this as a vector and make the text transparent (.png) & then I add that text to Canva to the template and line it up to where it makes sense and that’s all. It’s a tedious process that I can easily do it 1 place, but I’m a designer and I do things for my own reasoning and it’s what works for me. But simply I just use Canva to separate myself from the background cause its quicker, more accurate and sharper than doing it in Photoshop.
