starting an oil engine on diesel fuel

just seeing if it's possible to run my 20hp Austral on diesel instead of kerosene ( which is $70 for 20 lts)

I do plan on driving that big Robison pump eventually. I must fix up the blowlamp because I realise after watching that it wasn’t hot enough to start.
