Thank you for repeating these steps. Sometimes the simple things are the hardest. I'm still new to longarming...but I'm getting there!

Thank you! This was extremely helpful to me. I'm just learning to quilt and the starting and stopping tie-offs were the one thing I couldn't get right. I was trying to make it too complicated I think . Lol thanks for bringing me back down to earth:)

Thanks for this video! After stopping and tying off, the machine won't move over to pull up the thread as you're showing, the thread just breaks. I've checked the tension on top and bobbin, but I haven't had any success, I have to keep re-threading to start again. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Try pulling down on the thread near the pigtail guide to give it some slack before moving the machine.

@@HandiQuilter Yes, so playing with it this morning, the thread wasn't moving through the disc, and I had loosened the tension but still not great. Then I realized this started happening when I changed out my thread to a bigger spool of serger thread I had. So I switched back to the so fine superior and that fixed it. 🤗 thank you for responding!

Thank you. This can be done with an older domestic machine? I assume I make my stitches 0.5 to secure stitches at the end of a quilting line design.

I spent the last three days getting my Moxie together and getting a practice quilt on it. I was ready to go but could not figure out how to do a needle up needle down to pull up my bobbin thread. Is the machine supposed to be on manual, cruise or,precision when doing the needle down and up. Can you give me detailed instruction on what to do with controls on handle bars.

So the reason for this, is like using back stitch to tie it off like on sewing machine?
