Something to note about upgrading. When you upgrade the rarity of an iconic item from rate to epic or epic to legendary it will also be upgraded to your current level. So it's best to wait as long as you can in order to save upgrade materials as keeping legendary weapons at your level gets expensive.

Technically when you upgrade the rarity of a weapon it goes to one below your current level so you still have to upgrade it once more. But yes, it's more resource efficient to just upgrade the rarity once every 10 levels or so, i like to wait till I'm level 40ish to upgrade it to legendary.

@@g0lgrim1 How it works is, if you loot Lizzie at level 12, then it will be level 12 at blue rarity when you obtain it. You can only ever upgrade a gun to match your level. So if you were to hit level 30 after obtaining it, you could upgrade it to level 30 by upgrading the gun 18 times on the upgrade screen. But if you were to craft the gun into it's purple rarity it would automatically be level 29 after crafting it, so you'd only need to upgrade it once more.

You can get Fenrir MP (setting bad guys on fire) in act 1 by doing the monk rescue quest in the northwest corner of Watson. It´s sitting in the warehouse where you have to off the maelstorm dudes and rescue the monk and is waiting for someone to grab it. It is very OP, just hit someone once or twice, wait a few seconds and there toast - literally

I just picked that one up today actually, it is quite nasty with a recoil eliminating mod in it and a few damage mods on top of that. The fire effect on it sets targets on fire permanently, and the effect stacks for every additional attack, if I remember correctly. I'm kind of surprised he didn't mention it.

Another great weapon to get early on in the game is also found in Konpeki plaza. This is the Kongou pistol. Not only is it a solid pistol, it's also has one of the best looking models in the game, alongside some awesome animations! The Kongou allows bullet ricochets even without the relevant cyberware and you can essentially bounce bullets around corners. Bullets will attempt to lock on to nearby enemies after bouncing, so it is actually really accurate and effective!

You don't actually have to make 50 kills with Skippy you just have to have it in one of your weapon slots while you get the 50 kills. I got the switch dialog last night just grinding kills with quickhacks lol.

You can still set Stone Cold killer mode in Skippy even when you have selected Stone Cold Killer the first time. (I dont know if it will work everytime) Here's what I did: I selected Stone cold Killer and then got "Target Analysis" mod for my Kiroshi Optics. This mod enables all weapons to be non-lethal and smart weapons to shoot at lower extremities. After 50+ kills with Skippy, the gun will ask "why we prefer to mame enemies rather than killing them" after this select "I dont know" option. This will enable Skippy to permanently fix itself to Stone Cold killer mode.

Skippy is fairly overrated now since it doesn't scale with you. Having to invest 30+ upgrades into a purple weapon is extremely expensive if you aren't using glitches for materials. Trying to get out of puppy loving pacifist mode is also a huge pain in the ass. It was taking me basically a full clip to put people down in Very Hard.

Wow - lots of bs here. Two things about Lizzie's pistol - first, after completing the mission in Lizzie's club (as explained) you do NOT have access to the double door in the basement that leads to the server room. So this information already is false. Second, it is a very bad idea to get this gun so early in the game when being low level. So, don't do it and try to find better advice. Further, even if you wanted to get hold of the Shingen: there is of course no access to SanDom "early". So again, false information. Same goes for Skippy, a gun that you allegedly can get "right at the beginning of the game", which is again nonsense. You cannot access HW from the beginning nor should you try so.

I wish I could make sense of this game's weapon and clothing mechanics. But even after watching videos and reading comments, I just don't get it. Everyone contradicts one another, and *everything* contradicts what I actually see in my game. My in game weapons and upgrade system makes no sense to me. It's so random and inconsistent. Like the stats on my weapons keep changing from one screen to the next. Or I'll look at a stat, reload the game, look again...and it's changed??? And I have no idea when or how I'm *"supposed"* to be upgrading what and when??? Can't figure out how clothing works, one screen says I'm wearing one thing, but another screen says I'm wearing something else? I can't figure out how to store anything... etc... I'm so lost here..

Gun wasn't there when i was down there the first time, only junk to pick up. Also tried to go back but the door is now locked. Maybe 1.6 cut it out. They have made the game much harder to get money and good weapons in the last 2 patches and updates. Much preferred my play through when i got the game before that mega update to make it series s/x

The Satori is actually 2nd or least used to be if you go back to Tower of Arasaka you can get in same place The Black Unicorn after you beat the game you start out with it less powerful however used to regret it from 2nd visit if you grabbed Satori

Well there is always Johnny’s attire set that you can upgrade up to legendary status, but as I played I get legendary clothing from some vendors fine as is, probably get your crafting stat up to 18-20 that usually allows vendors to sell legendary items to you

It kind of makes sense. The only thing that really made legendary armor better in the initial version was that you could get up to 4 mod slots. Now that mod slots are capped at two it doesn't really matter other than you can't use legendary mods in anything other than legendary armor (but really the % bonuses aren't that much higher than the epic versions).

Tag, question for you: I’d tuned out on Cyberpunk a while back, no reason. Just had other stuff I wanted to play. Came back randomly. Had no clue 1.6 was dropping. Prior to 1.6 I found myself saying, “They really cleaned this up. Glitches, bugs, all that crap seems to gone. Completely!” 1.6 dropped to my surprise and I had a **markedly noticeable** uptick in bugs, glitches, and _crashes_ . You, anyone else notice this? Playing on PS5.

Have you checked if the install finished right? I'm running the PC version and had to do a double repair of the install for the game to get ok. No problems since and it only took me like 10-15 minutes on crappy DSL internet. Don't know if PS5 has that option though.

idk but for me the weapons do not have the slightest amount of dps that you have. they are all under 200dps
