So many children are born into this world because of selfish momentary pleasure, oh and many of them are not lucky. No matter what you do, your child can be bullied for anything, it is almost impossible to prevent this. Because there are very few conscious parents. It's just that the child knows that he can trust you with everything and say, "Oh, my dad will definitely handle it. Dad..!" This is how it is for me. I hope everything goes well for you. In most cases in the us kids that get adopted by samesex couples arent worried about having two dads or two moms. More often they are proud to have two loving parents that were loving enough to get them out of a bad living situation. To live a happy life with two parents that love each other is the best way to raise a child and that is all that matters in a childs eyes. In most cases a child doesnt see past the sex of their parents and will go to war for theor parents. This was heartwarming. The child that has you both as parents will be very fortunate indeed. Just a note to say, how can folks say that about North Koreans? Do they really feel they had a choice when the demarcation zone was created? Do they not think North Koreans were just as heartbroken as their southern counterparts? I just don't get that way of thinking. I found it shocking when I first realised that North Koreans faced such criticism and discrimination in South Korea. I had thought they'd be welcome with open arms as long lost family.

I’m not entirely sure if I’m saying this correctly, but I think it might be because they are a minority in South Korea, culturally different, and lack abundant initial resources. He said it right. I as a parent of two made many sacrifices for my children because of my love for them and knowing two innocent lives depended on me for everything. Even after you teach them , nurture them, support them in whatever they need so they may grow and then when they spread their wings to live and follow their choices … you can watch them , support them , love them…a bitter sweet feeling…because you must let them make choices even if they are not always wise…you want to shelter them from all harm…forever, though it is not plausible….so he is wise with his words …children are not a temporary thing…a play thing…though some people call themselves parents they are not. Anyone just about can birth a child….but being a true parent , that is not easy and not as common as most people think….

Sacrificing for someone you love is much easier than you think. I’m sure you do it for each other all the time without a thought. When the child is your own it’s not as exhausting as caring for someone else’s child. I have 2 girls and they are the best thing I have ever done! My life is much richer with them in it. Also, kids make fun of others for any reason. Providing a safe, loving home is the most important thing. You will make great parents!

Even if it is not common or 'normal' in South Korea, make 'having 2 dads' normal for your child. Look for children’s books on the topic. Buy cartoons containing gay parents from the US or Europe. Keep having the talk with your child again and again. And maybe you can visit the kindergarten where you can talk about love is love. And show pictures of your family doing nice things. 'Just like the kids with straight parents'. The kindergarten or school can maybe pick this up in their education plan. Maybe even invite parents to your home: 'we are not strange. we are 2 loving parents that want the best for our child'. I think with these kinds of initiatives you can influence the environment of your child. But I understand your worries and I applaud you two for wanting to make a difference. 😘😘

This powerful moment is truly inspiring for so many of us, especially when he stepped away stating the baby was more attractive to Kim and Pack 😂.
