Starting HRT (Hormones) - MTF Transition

Starting hormones (HRT) August 27, 2018. It has been 4 months since our realization that I am transgender.
I am so happy to 1. Be able to finally feel like me, 2. Have a spouse who is completely beside me all the way.

Again congrats on getting hormones so quickly. Here in south carolina it is not so easy. You are so lucky to have a caring loving wife as yours. Enjoy the moment.

There has been such an explosion of people coming out as Trans, that the health care in Saskatchewan (and the rest of Canada) can't keep up. 6 specific Trans doctors caring for 1.6 million residents in our province. We called every Dr. and every helpline for 3 months. Even our Mental Health Councillor couldn't believe she was hitting so many roadblocks. After having to switch family Drs., we happened to just get one who said, "Oh, sure, I have 5 other patients who are Trans - What do you need?". She has been a HUGE ally for us. She was a very lucky break for us.
