Starting My Pediatrics Rotation in Medical School | 3rd Year Medical School Student VLOG

In medical school, the last two years are called clinical years. So starting 3rd and 4th year, medical school students start their rotations in hospitals and clinics affiliated with their school. In this video, I vlog about the start of one of that rotation--Pediatric Rotation.

Hi! My name is Kat, I was in a RN BSN program, but was removed due to an event related to family events. I'm going to be enrolling into a LVN program (which is the only solution for me at this time), and hopefully I'll be back at it to get my RN BSN as planned (and maybe my masters for my NP license). Hey Jamie! My name is Giovana, I'm 21 and I'm a first year medical student in Brazil. Here we don't have to do an undergraduate course in order to attend med school. On the other hand, we do have a thing called 'vestibular' which is basically like a REALLY difficult LSAT in order to get into any university. Med school in Brazil consists of 6 years, which as you know, are everything but easy. Hey Jamie, congratulations on your 40k subscribers! I'm a third year medical student in Malaysia. I've been following you for sometime and your videos are really inspiring; juggling med school and everything else in between is not easy! ( I don't know how you do it effortlessly) One interesting fact about me is that after a year in medschool, my university college had to shut down due to financial crisis leaving about 400 of us medical students stranded. We had shift to a different university and redo our first year from the beginning. Those who were ahead of me had to drop a year even though it was not our fault. It was devastating. Even though, I did not fail, I am actually a year behind. It was tough making the shift, and looking for financial aid all over again. It was a very depressing period of my life! However, I'm very glad that I am finally a third year medical student entering my clinical years. Things are so much better now and I'm so grateful I did not give up my dream of becoming a doctor. The struggles were real but definitely worth it. I hope that this little fact about me inspires someone out there to keep on pursuing their dreams. (I thought a part/full time job and full time education was challenging until I saw the life of a medical student) I have recently found your videos on KZbin and find them incredibly easy and interesting to watch.
