I haven’t retwisted my locs since March either🥳! The longest I’ve gone btwn retwists is 3-4 months, but I’m trying to go for much much longer this time. I hit my 2 yr mark a week ago & I’ve been a semi freeformer since the beginning of my journey. I don’t like the look of retwists & my locs especially in the front are really thick so I can’t even make a full rotation when trying to retwist now that they’ve thickened up. I find myself doing braidouts when I want a different look & it’s great so far. Braidouts have helped with reducing the urge to retwist. Good luck on your new journey & congratss on 3 yrs🥳🎉!

I JUST GOT MY LOCS RETWISTED THIS MONTH AND MY LAST RETWIST WAS APRIL. I TURNED 3 YEARS IN MAY 1ST. BUT MY ROOTS WASNT BAD AT ALL WITH MESHING TOGETHER SUPRISINGLY.
