Starting our August 2024 LAST MINUTE Orlando Trip | Manchester to MCO | Virgin Atlantic | Travel Day

Another classic travel day! It had all the feels- Donna crying, Matilda being sassy, Jake loving his wheels and driving in Orlando, Blake being so cute and grateful for his snacks and toys that Mum gave him on the plane. It was the best finale when you went to BayLake Tower and had the great view of Fireworks over Cinderella Castle with your friends. Let’s face it, time with friends and family is the real magic.

@@thefinlayadventure Hi yes it did get easier but my 14 year old boy who has Autism is very embarrassed and doesn’t like anyone knowing whereas my daughter that has ADHD isn’t bothered. I’m not sure if it’s a boy or teenager thing. I keep trying to tell him that we tell people to help make things better but it doesn’t help him x

That's interesting. Will be interesting to see how Blake will be affected by people knowing as he gets older. He's already got a bit of a bee in his bonnet about wearing the lanyard. He also gets quite defensive if we mention it/he overhears us (we're still learning how perceptive he can be). Thank you so much for sharing :)

Just found you guys through recommended on my YT and you are so relatable!!! Love your vlog ! Mum you are a legend staying cool when all u wanted to do was sleep on the plane . What we do for our kids ah ? I remember sitting with my youngest laying across my lap for like 6 hours asleep and I was dying for a wee bit held it 😂

@thefinlayadventure6255 nope, we've not even started packing, and we leave for Gatwick tomorrow morning. Almost a 5 hr drive. Other half finished work an hr ago & he's out panic buying, while I'm frantically cleaning the house with a poorly 3 Yr old. Stress & anxiety is thru the roof. Send help 🤣🤣 x

We flew on Uptown Girl in April from Heathrow and the screens were awful then, so it definitely isn't just you getting the bad one . Love your videos, and looking forward to the rest of your trip.

I think they have certainly served their time lol, and yes it was so frustrating, but when your so excited about your trip, then you deal with little hiccups. We should of actually been on one of the newer A330 -1000 planes, but virgin changed our flight a fee months before we went. We are going again next September so will be interesting to see if they have been replaced. Keep doing what your doing. Again look forward to the next installments

100%. I really hope we get a newer plane next time we fly. Saying that, we are open to trying a different airline next year, TUI or Norse, just so we can compare. We'll see. Thank you so much for the support :)

Yeah, they were very grateful, but the BA staff last year seems far more appreciative. The heat was tough, but we made it work. There's always air-con. Lol. Just make sure you have fans, water and cooling towels

So we never traveled... But Family from West Germany...they came and visited us...bc we couldn't cross the border... My Uncle came also with US Cars...and if the old black/white TV was working...we received west tv...illegal...😂... So all that fired me up for America... I was around 10 years old... I said...Mom...believe me or not...but one day...I will live in America... I was 19 when the Wall went down in Nov 1989... So I played in the Greencard Lottery...every single year... Last Registration Nov 2015... Result End of May 2016... Winner...🎉🎉🎉 But... Paperwork, Doctors Appointment, US Embassy... and finally june 2017.... Chicago o'hare...last paper check and final stamp... Received the physical permanent resident card couple weeks later by mail... My Dream came true almost 38 years later!!!! My advice for the younger generation... How crazy it even sounds for others... Never give up on your dreams...NEVER... ...and yes...travel "a lot"...😊 Last year a weekend in January Florida June/July 3 weeks Germany December 2 weeks Germany... Last time...I crossed the Atlantic Ocean for the 37th time... but a bunch of that before as a "german tourist"...😂 And yes...also via LHR...LGW...or both...by National Express... But now for few years I'm a AF/ KLM and Delta Guy....😂 Ok.....again have a lot of fun...I'm looking forward too...❤
