In 2013, Pizzeria Beddia first started in the Fishtown neighbourhood of Philadelphia. Famously, it had no chairs, no phone, no by-the-slice means of ordering, no delivery and only two employees.
Joe Beddia would prepare enough dough each day for only 40 pizzas, where customers would be willing to spend the majority of their afternoons waiting to try one of his whole pies.

As a child there was an amazing pizzeria near my house that made incredible pizza. The owners sold it and for decades I couldn't get a pizza that was as good. Joe's pizza IS that good. He's brought back a part of my childhood.

Idk how much he sells a pizza for but If he sold only 40 pizzas per day at $20 a pizza and every day he sold out, he would be grossing 24k a month. Lets say he nets half at 12k a month after all expenses. Thats great for only making 40 pizzas a day as a 1 man show. If hes able to do those numbers as a 1 man show I can only imagine what his numbers would be if he ran it fully without limitations on how many he sells per day. Dudes probably missing out on at least 30k extra in net income. But if hes happy, thats all that matters. Peace of mind is as equally as important as profits
