I'm a new subscriber. I live in Canada and I'm beginning my own Vanlife journey rn. My Honda Odyssey is in the shop rn and I should have it back Tomo and finish moving out this weekend & into the Van full time. I'm nervous but Im putting my faith in God to get me thru. Next year when SSI kicks in I will be living out of my Jeep Compass with 2 chihuahuas and 2 cats. We car camp now and enjoy it. I'm having to sell my mobile home and everything in it that I can't take with me, or don't need. I'm learning with the price of everything I had to choose to eat over the Mobile home over my head. I'm going to Nomad, and save as much as I can to relocate somewhere in a Tiny home when I am not able to drive anymore. I want to be able to pay cash for that so I have no debts. I really don't have debts now, but the cost of utilities, rent, insurance, fuel, and food is ridiculously higher since Covid. On top of that my cost of living raises are not covering it. I'm already struggling to keep my head afloat.
