Danke, diese Fallbeispiele an einem Porsche 911 empfinde ich als sehr wertvoll. Besonders gefällt mir der unkomplizierte Umgang mit der Materie „Porsche Restauration“. Ich sehe in dem Clip viel positive Detailverliebtheit. In diesem Video ist der ganze Arbeitsaufwand wie Reinigen und Spachteln etc., nicht sichtbar: Die Fleißarbeit. Why would you not use painless dent repair on the smaller/less obvious dents? Seems like that would reduce the need to use filler.

You certainly can, but paint less dent removal is more expensive and often not perfect, meaning that there are subtle imperfections left. if you are going to paint a car anyway, you will inevitably apply at minimum a skim coat of filler. Of course, if budget had permitted, the door could have been reskinned. It’s really a matter of time and budget.
