@MyGolfDNA I love this because my recent practice sessions have included the addition of a transition feeling which, for me, feels like a gentle tug or an ever so slight fall, towards the target side as my hands are slowing down at the top of the back swing. Its minimal but the body seems to just flow easily. I try to keep this move to a small "feel" because I don't want to over-cook anything. Look forward to the rest of your presentation, Chris (and Jace!). 🤟

In my opinion the tour needs to help those guys that just trying to make ends meat and get some starts on the tour on the tour, so my recommendation is when they have a major or limit field, the tour should have another tournament opposite the other events. I already know the push back from the Tour Leadership, well we want all the attention focused on the main tournament. I say, bullshit, if you really want to grow the tour then you have to give these guys outside of the top 50 to get a chance to earn a living.

I agree very much so. The shift to the playoff format with a huge purse at the end was not a good decision for the game of golf. Watching 30 guys play in an event where no one could ever figure out the point system or the new handicapping system is just plain awful. I want to see big fields with players that are excited to be there to help grow the game.

I personally hate the given strokes before a tournament starts all the players that are in the tour championship had good years and all should be given a chance to win

I get why they spot shots in the championship, to reward the guy who worked hard all season to build the lead, but it makes that particular event less fun to watch (I didn't). If they are going to spot shots, why not make it a 1 stroke difference between each position, so 1 shot over the guy in 2nd, 2 shots over the guy in 3rd, etc. Build more drama back into the event.

Interesting perspective. The way things are framed it’s only fair to have some sort of handicapping system but maybe they revamp the entire system and get back to some of the traditional ways instead of trying to create excitement around 1 really big purse at the end of the year.
