Hey, Jimmie, that's no "creek" flowing through Goosenecks State Park, it's the San Juan River, one of the largest tributaries of the Colorado River. In fact, you spent most of your time in this video exploring the San Juan River drainage, which includes the Animas River, a San Juan tributary running through both Silverton and Durango. You can be forgiven for confusing rivers and creeks, given that you come from North Carolina, where the creeks are bigger than our rivers are out west! 🙂

Your map route across Ohio appears to be just the north. If you can and have time, check out South and Central Ohio. Southern Ohio has awesome places like Cantwell Cliffs, Old Man's and Ash caves. Central Ohio has the Airforce museum in Dayton, the Mansfield area has the Shawshank tour, and tons of other things to do. Fairfield in southern Ohio outside of Cincinnati has the coolest grocery store ever, Jungle Jim's, Nelsonville has Rocky Boots, and a train ride. And much much more ❤

now then, as far a 'traveling on the cheap' you toast your sandwitch bread, ( that kills any bacteria or stuff, so you don't have to worry about the bread 'growing stuff' , then you put the peanut butter on each side of the bread and then put HONEY on the insides of the peanut butter and it will last several days ! I used to work on the railroad and often couldn't find anywhere to eat,,,,so I made and carried my dinners with me!

Your map showed that you are planning on coming to the pacific northwet. [SIC] I highly recommend that you make it to the left coast. The Hoh rainforest (one of the largest temperate rainforests in the US) is beautious, and a must see. Just up the road is Forks WA. Team Edward or team Jacob? Further North to Dungeness Spit and the best crab in the world. A glorious drive through a picturesque landscape brings you to the Puget sound and ferry ride away from Seattle. MoPop and Chihuly garden at the foot of the space needle are awesome. And please try Applets & Cotlets, (If you are like me you will hate them, but its tradition to try them.) Love you kids.

Congrats on the vision Jimmy. You should know that Lasik only lasts 20 years roughly, then you can do it maybe one more time for another 20 years. So 40 years max and then it cannot be done again. So my wisdom I'm sharing is that he is young and should plan out when to use the last 20 years of good sight in his life. My father in-law at the end of his 40 years. Had Lasik twice. Now can't hardly see with glasses. Since you are seeing the world now, it makes sense he should fix his sight now, but when it begins to wear off in 20 years, he should consider to possibly wear glasses again for a decade or so before he gets it done a second time.
