So, are the gaps between the 2x3 and the top of the frame going to get filled later with the reinforcement plates? I'm digging the progress!

Yes that’s correct, next weeks video will show the top and bottom plates going on and how it ties all together. The 2x3 is mainly to hold the rails together and be a crossmember. Editing next video now 👍 Thanks for watching

@@Outlandish_Family I've never body dropped a truck but I've followed about every how to in Minitruckin or any decent KZbin video I've come across in the past 25 years. lol I wasn't sure if you guys had a different way of going about it.

Honestly I’ve never done it either, but I’m learning as I go and using what materials I can afford. I’m sure there’s a better and nicer way, but I’m enjoying learning and building it with my friends.
