I can’t remember where I saw this but they mentioned pulling the rug under your bed out further to have your nightstands sitting on the floor instead of the rug to give them their “moment” and I think it made such a difference! I love how everything is turning out so far it looks great! 😍

Cozy vibes! ✨ A more plain, kinda beige, washable rug from ruggable would be pretty under the dining table. But you will have to remove it often to throw it in the wash if it gets bad enough versus just cleaning around the table on the floor. Get you some Folex! They have it at Home Depot. It's my favorite spot cleaner, and has definitely been major help if I have any accidents during my period.

We have a washable rug under our dining table. Going with a washable one was the only way I was able to convince my husband that we needed one since our kids are still in their very messy eater phase. It made the space so much more cozy and put together.

A round rug under the dining table!!! It creates such a beautiful centredness to the space but creates a good flow around the space, eliminating an angle and making it connect the spaces together really nicely. (Hope this makes sense)

honestly, it's a lot easier to have hard floor under a dining area... so much easier to to sweep than get out a vacuum... you can really warm up and ear with how you set the table. also have you ever watched the sorry girls? all your thrift flipping and decorating is making me think of them! when they ran out of their own home spaces to decorate, they started decoraing/flipping other people's spaces... that could be a cool thing to see in the future if that sounds like something you'd enjoy :)

The house looks BEAUTIFUL! 😍 I absolutely love the living room rug! What I usually do to add more coziness is make the curtain rod reach way beyond the window on both sides and put the curtains more wider than narrow and not actually in front of the window but starting right from the edge of the window. It creates an illusion that the windows were wider and gives a room very lux and super COZY VIBES. 💗

I'm new to your channel and I'm here because of the renovation content. Your spaces are looking so beautiful. Like some of the other commentors sais tone down the gold on the coffee table knobs (coffee table came out great by the way), add a rug under the dining table (big enough so the chairs stay on the rug when pulled out, if there's space for that), pull the rug under the bed forward), 2 curtains behind the bed, large artwork behind the bed. One thing to mention about the curtains is the end rings should be on the outside of the bracket to create a return from the draperies to the wall. Then a little screw eye goes on the wall next to the bracket and that last hook goes into the screw eye. Ideally, draperies should be lined. It protects the fabric and gives a cohesive look from the outside of the house. I used to sell window treatments. I'm also planning some renovations in my home and one of them is flooring. How are you liking the flooring you picked out? Both the quality and the color. I don't know where you are in Florida but I'm on the central east coast (the Space Coast). Practically neighbors!

I think one looong curtain rod and curtains for the bedroom. You can put artwork in other places around the room. As for the dinging room, I am team rug!! But I would shy away from having a similar vibe of a rug than your living room since they’re so close together. Maybe like a soft diamond rug. Like the one from Chrislovejulia line!

1. I would recommend the curtain by the couch to stretch the length of the wall on both sides more. With such a large space, it's kind of off that it's a single pane window, so I would make that longer with more curtains to make it seem like the window is larger. 2. the rug in the bedroom shouldn't be pushed up against the back wall. You generally want your nightstands to be on the wood and then your rug to start after the nightstand. This also ensures there's even coverage on the sides and foot of the bed. Right now, there's only a tiny sliver of rug at the foot of the bed. Those are my thoughts :)

To make the living and dining room cozier, I would say adding something to your walls (art, picture frames etc) so that 2/3rd of the space isnt white vertically. No rug in dining room, but more wall space taken up or a large lighr fixture.

Everything is coming together super nicely. For the living room, have you considered adding a couple of accent chairs to complete and enclose the space? the lamp looks too small I think, probably even with the bigger screen, and definitely rub n buff the hardware on the coffee table, which turned out great! In the bedroom, please separate the rug from the back wall and bring it more to the front so the nightstands stand alone and have their moment (I would go for a darker tone on them to add contrast), definitely separate curtain rods. So excited to see the progress!!!

I also doubled my olive green curtain panels in the living room. The curtain rod is hug 10 inches past the window trim on each side. And about 3 inches from the ceiling. They really make the window appear much larger than it is. Love your bedroom rug, also! I also chose a similar bedroom rug. 😂 It is Loli and is called denim/multi.
