I can’t remember where I saw this but they mentioned pulling the rug under your bed out further to have your nightstands sitting on the floor instead of the rug to give them their “moment” and I think it made such a difference! I love how everything is turning out so far it looks great! 😍

A round rug under the dining table!!! It creates such a beautiful centredness to the space but creates a good flow around the space, eliminating an angle and making it connect the spaces together really nicely. (Hope this makes sense)

Cozy vibes! ✨ A more plain, kinda beige, washable rug from ruggable would be pretty under the dining table. But you will have to remove it often to throw it in the wash if it gets bad enough versus just cleaning around the table on the floor. Get you some Folex! They have it at Home Depot. It's my favorite spot cleaner, and has definitely been major help if I have any accidents during my period.

I'm new to your channel and I'm here because of the renovation content. Your spaces are looking so beautiful. Like some of the other commentors sais tone down the gold on the coffee table knobs (coffee table came out great by the way), add a rug under the dining table (big enough so the chairs stay on the rug when pulled out, if there's space for that), pull the rug under the bed forward), 2 curtains behind the bed, large artwork behind the bed. One thing to mention about the curtains is the end rings should be on the outside of the bracket to create a return from the draperies to the wall. Then a little screw eye goes on the wall next to the bracket and that last hook goes into the screw eye. Ideally, draperies should be lined. It protects the fabric and gives a cohesive look from the outside of the house. I used to sell window treatments. I'm also planning some renovations in my home and one of them is flooring. How are you liking the flooring you picked out? Both the quality and the color. I don't know where you are in Florida but I'm on the central east coast (the Space Coast). Practically neighbors!

What I usually do to add more coziness is make the curtain rod reach way beyond the window on both sides and put the curtains more wider than narrow and not actually in front of the window but starting right from the edge of the window. I think one long curtain would look amazing! You could always split it if you want but it would look so boujy with the full curtain wall. Also I'd get bigger pillows for your bed or some throw pillows to make it look fuller!

honestly, it's a lot easier to have hard floor under a dining area... so much easier to to sweep than get out a vacuum... you can really warm up and ear with how you set the table. also have you ever watched the sorry girls? all your thrift flipping and decorating is making me think of them! when they ran out of their own home spaces to decorate, they started decoraing/flipping other people's spaces... that could be a cool thing to see in the future if that sounds like something you'd enjoy :)

Also, I think the curtain rod holders in the living room should be moved further out for it to fit the ends of the rod, and you should do two panels of curtains on each side- will give the illusion of a bigger window without blocking any light ( curtains can be opened completely and pushed out of the way of the window).

Even though adding a rug under the dining set will be cozy, practicality wise (in my experience) it's such a hassle to pull out the chairs with the rug underneath and will create wear and tear over time with the legs rubbing on the rug. Also sweeping under the coffee table is so much easier than vacuuming! I definitely think two rods for the windows and definitely change the gold! It's too much of a yellow-gold and doesn't fit with the vintage-y vibes of the Livingroom. 🥰

To make the living and dining room cozier, I would say adding something to your walls (art, picture frames etc) so that 2/3rd of the space isnt white vertically. No rug in dining room, but more wall space taken up or a large lighr fixture.

Loving the idea of 1 curtain rod especially since the 2 windows are so close together. Having 2 rods then 2 side tables might look too uniform. Rub n Buff on the gold hardware as well it will look stellar! Rug under the dining table is a maybe for me. I think it would depend on the rug style but it would help define the 2 separate spaces! I think 2 rods with some piecy decor like you did with the photo frames in your previous room would look cool. 1. I would recommend the curtain by the couch to stretch the length of the wall on both sides more. With such a large space, it's kind of off that it's a single pane window, so I would make that longer with more curtains to make it seem like the window is larger. 2. the rug in the bedroom shouldn't be pushed up against the back wall. You generally want your nightstands to be on the wood and then your rug to start after the nightstand. This also ensures there's even coverage on the sides and foot of the bed. Right now, there's only a tiny sliver of rug at the foot of the bed. Those are my thoughts :)

Hey Haley, I pray that you & Eran & the girls are all doing well today. I love how everything came together in the living room. I don't think that those pulls work for the coffee table. I think that you should go darker bcuz the bright tone of the gold doesn't look right for some reason 🤷🏻‍♀️. But your bed is Soooo Awesome this is the kind that I've wanted. Hi Haley! Love how you are furnishing your house. Love what you did with the coffee table but hate those gold handles on the drawers, they dont match the theme at all. They are as warm as how that table was when it first got there. I think you should get those bedroom windows each their own little curtains,dont do one long rail. LOVE LOVE LOVE, but I think the couch against the wall isnt the most ideal placement. I think if you turned the back of the couch to the kitchen with the L shape to the left so it cuts of the dining room and the kitchen, you’re able to section the living room off as a room more. Then the couch would also be facing the back wall so you can hang a Tv or do cool shelving for books and leave the window on the right side of the living room free and maybe put an accent chair with a little side table. Your living room would feel much cozier and sectioned off ❤

Two curtain rods, rug under the table that’s washable in case of stains, and lastly rub and buff the hardware because it looks too yellow gold against the table. Also maybe for above the bed your wedding picture in a beautiful wooden frame that is a light chocolate wood color that kind of goes with the rest of the house. And maybe do the same thing in the living room with pictures above the couch.

Have you considered flipping the couch in the opposite direction so that it’s floating and divides the living room from the kitchen? It’ll also allow you put a TV on that wall that could be seen from the kitchen.

omg obsessed with the sofa area!! the back wall looks like its crying out for some art or a mirror tho! and I definitely think the coffee table hardware could do with being more brassy to match the curtain pole and lamp

Ooo I think one long curtain rod with 3 or 4 panels of curtains so you can slide it all the way closed and it be one unit. You can still put wall art up above your bed, just you will see when the curtains are open

I think one looong curtain rod and curtains for the bedroom. You can put artwork in other places around the room. As for the dinging room, I am team rug!! But I would shy away from having a similar vibe of a rug than your living room since they’re so close together. Maybe like a soft diamond rug. Like the one from Chrislovejulia line!

Two curtain rods for the curtains upstairs would look lovely, especially if you want to hang decor pieces in-between the windows! Also a table runner would add a touch of coziness to your table and another layer of texture! Also like the more antique gold rub n buff for the coffee table!
