tip for picking wall colors: paint swatches on every wall in the room. different lighting can bring out undertones that you might not be happy with (from personal experience of a blue wall looking purple)

Maybe it’s not your way but it’s certainly not ‘wrong’ Poppy and Alfie have mentioned previously that their parents didn’t marry until they (poppy and alfie) were adults and they were raised clearly in a happy, loving and healthy household so you can surely understand why they’re doing something similar. Poppy, you are really a very beautiful young woman. You have the most perfect nose. Your eyes are so dark brown you can barely see your pupils. Your teeth are a very nice shape and very straight and white. And I love when Sean really makes you laugh, your whole face lights up. Even your hair is very pretty and very long. I noticed when you were painting the swatches on the nursery wall. I am watching these way after the fact. The baby is here! The nursery is done and so so sweet. The lounge has been painted and all the shelves redecorated. But I’m just enjoying the story. A bit backwards to be fair, but still so nice. And now I’m craving cheesecake! I hope it turned out as delicious as it looked!

Just a tip from a builders wife, if you want Farrow and Ball colours take the swatch and have it colour matched with crow or deluxe paint as it is much easier to use and better quality paint xx

I did a garden theme for my nursery, it was vining with small apples oranges and pears, I matched our cherry wood crib to the red of the apples, the yellow of the pear to the rocker and the green of the leaves just happened to match the trim perfectly. It was so hard to narrow everything down though.
