Thanks fella - just got an acme condor pro and struggled starting it but followed this and much better :-) everyone ignore the warning about the low idle sticker - mine was covered and said do not touch but after removal and tweaking as said above mine started and ran much better.... good stuff Alishanmao :-) many thanks.....

Thanks I just got a acme condor pro plus and without your help I would of thrown it in the bin. It took a while even to start, but now it's starts good and I think it's running ok. Ps the don't touch sticker on the low end is in the bin.

no problem and a little tip always run it leaner in the summer an run it richer in the winter its to keep it warm it the correct weathers sorry about thead spelling up here i broke my keyboard lol is fixd now

you didnt mention it to me, but lean out the low speed needle a tiny bit :) If that doesnt help then higher the idle speed a little :)

Hi Ali, the 'team infinity' engine may be powerful but after running mine in I couldn't tune it and like you said easily overheat! I looked for air leaks and found after about 7 tanks that my engine backplate, carb mount, fuel tank & front bearing all had air leeks! So if you buy one take it out of car and check for air leeks first!

on your controller there should be a dial labeled throttle trim. you want to back it down to where the engine will idle correctly without making the car go until you give it throttle.

Ali great video I have my low speed needle set good but when I give it full throttle with the wheels off the ground it is fine but when I am driving it the engine cuts out it does not even bog down it just shuts off. Thanks Ali you are the man !!!!

Ali i dont have this truck, but I have a problem where the pull start handle keeps hitting the on/off switch off. Any ideas how to fix this? The handle must be loose?

Ali am i right- if it boggs down at full throttle it means the low is rich- yes??? But however when i do pinch test it seems all ok- Could it be the HSN too rich?? cheers ;)

I have the 18 infinity engine which if set up correct runs with no problems. Have you seen the Team Infinity 21 small block which drops stright into a 1/10 scale. I`ve just got one and it looks like it going to fun!

1 outher thing is my back wheel on my nitro rampage the wheel is bent i think it needs a new hex i dont no how to replace it so the thing i whant to no is will it be ok to drive when i drive it you can see its a bit bent but it seems ok what do you think thanks for all your help

find the factory settings for your screws and back them all up to where they were when it was new. sounds like yours are way off

So is there no mid range setting on this engine? It looked like u were seting the mid range but you were saying i was the low range. Most engines have a mid range needle that they say you should never change.

Hi, how do you count a full circle? Thaat was one and a half (480°). 3 Circles would be 1080°!

hmmm sounds like your con rods gone or like in my case on my car with acme .18 engine in the cogs are sheared hope this helps

this is the problems ive been having with my rc nitro rampage car is i think its called a receiver box. its a black box with a ariel coming off the end and it has three ports for three wires to go in it. so i snapped the ariel off it and i taped it up and it done rubbish losing signal all the time so i changed it and put my condor receiver in it would it be ok it seems to be working fine and i changed the Crystal in it so i can use acme remote and it all seems ok is it ok to use thanks.

I have the hpi firestorm 10t with G3.0 engine and I'm trying to get the needles set up right but it's hard to start and it cuts out when u try to change mixtures and the wheels are spinning unlike urs are stationary. The low speed needle is very hard to get at and last time I tried starting it the engine took of and revved freely. It doesn't like full throttle when u give it full throttle it bounces around on the limiter for 2 secs and cuts out. can you help please with the set up on the carb

@alishanmao, maybe :0) the thing is this is the ''starter' can in almost all model shops in the UK! so unfortunately most UK people this car & engine will be their first impression of rc nitro powered cars. I have the patients and overall modelling experience to try and fix these problems where as others will probably just give up or carry on until it breaks. If they are as bad as everyone says then they shouldn't be allowed to sell them no matter how cheap!

ok. i just got my conquistador to start and i put it on a suport like in the vid. when i started it, it suddenly went up to top speed and took a long time to die when i held the fuel line. The idle is at lowest. is it just because there is no resistance or what?! please help!

When i start my engine it idles good but when i press the throttle it revs up far too high and doesn't come back down, when i pull back on the brake it brings the engine back to idle speed but as soon as i touch the throttle it is out of control again... any ideas?

I was always wondering with this question (You might think its dumb but) you know that tube that connects from the exhaust pipe to the Nitro Tank? Or gas Tank? Well i was thinking about it, I don't have a Fuel Filter and if i feed my engine with that smoke, it might die sooner or later. (Its gonna die sooner than Broke in engine due to that My wasn't broken in, actually i wasn't sure if my engine was broken into. When i first got it, the shop i went in, he demonstrated the car to me with this
