this reminds me of when i was little. me and my great grandfather. he used to take me out with him on his old ferguson tractor to chop down HUGE trees so we could gather enough firewood for the coming winter and sell off some of the excess firewood we brought home. :) i miss my Great Grandfather so incredibly much... he is and will allways be my role model. he taught me to appreciate what little we have and make the most out of it. so seeing this actually brought a tear to my eyes. i'll be watching through the WHOLE thing. that is for certain. :D Thank you for making this series. it brings warmth to my heart to see an old Ferguson Gråtass being used for what it was made for. to make life easier and to bring warmth in a home just that much faster. (Gråtass is a name we gave the Ferguson tractors because of the headlights. they looked like eyes and therefore looked like a living being so to speak. there was a children series made out of just that one tractor who was named Gråtass. stuck with me ever since. :D )

I love how you keep coming up with new ideas to keep things fresh and reigniting my gameplay in FS19. Not sure I’m ready for that level of poverty though 😀
Not sure if someone maybe already mentioned this but you could seed grass or cut the grass on the property. With it regrowing you’d save on seed and fertilizer with one less state to do. You would have to get a way to collect it but you could build a bunk out of old tires and make silage. I’d love to see some vintage grass/hay equipment on that pretty Ferguson before it’s gone. But, either way this will be an awesome series and I’m looking forward to watching progress and see your vision play out on this wonderful map!

That Fergueson is a T0-20 or T0-30 which is a work horse and a great vintage tractor. It was better than the Ford 8n in the torque ranges. It was an overhead valve 4 cylinder engine compared to Fords Flathead 4. A pure workhorse. I had both and they are both great tractors. Great video.

Another way to address the tractor front weight problem would be to add the front end loader, which could be handy for handling logs as well, especially when you upgrade the trailer to something bigger. Having a loader on the tractor would also allow you to handle big bags and crates of seed and fertilizer.

If you start with owned land and owned equipment there isn't much of a challenge to this, since there is no chance of failure. The accumulation of money is just slow. But since the expenses are negligible, no matter how little money you make per day, you are always going to make a profit. If you want a challenge, start with no money, no equipment and no land. Meaning that there would be a challenge to be so efficient that you are able to cover the loan interest and lease on your equipment. And there would be an actual risk of failure and bankruptcy. Other than that it was a well made video. The narration was good, the editing was good. I enjoyed it.

@AnnaMaria-zm8cv4 ай бұрын
Well you need to own land in order to make some money, you cant reap anything from a plot not owned by you. You could make it if you got one bag of fertiliser because thats a money hack as you can sell it with 400% profit. But that is cheating....
