My starter base is at the same spot then you, its 3x4 and i found out its great early on, no Bear, but i will not expend and waste time on this location, i found a nice spot nearby, its next the river high enought and it got sun at 7:30. IF you built your base there you will need to go 100 block higher, the mountain nearby is waaaaaay to close and will always block the sun.
