Great tutorial! I cant find the ableton preset packs for synthz anywhere?
@GetintheMix3 жыл бұрын
These are available in the Ableton Suite packs, however it's possible that these are Ableton Live 11 exclusives as we are using the Live 11 beta in this video! 11 will be out in the next month or two :)

Thanks for this nice video, please more.:-) it would be amazing if you could share the project file like last time. And by the way : did you ever thought to make a online course about this style ;-) cheers Daniel
@GetintheMix4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! The project file was not included this time as we were working in the Ableton Live 11 beta. There's not too much going on in the project, and the most can be learned from trying to recreate the elements :) No plans for an online course but there will be more of these videos to come 🙏

@@GetintheMix by the way that kick 70 is not from the sample pack.
@GetintheMix4 жыл бұрын
Yes the Kick 70s is in the Ableton packs. The kick from the Mennie pack was low-passed and then this Kick 70s was high-passed and layered with it to give it some extra snap in the high frequencies.
@danielribeiro46184 жыл бұрын
@@GetintheMix thanks I will try to recreate it 👍
@goltopaudio34084 жыл бұрын
@@danielribeiro4618 you could also try layering the attack from a rim shot or something over the top of the kick to get that snappy transient 🙂

Hello, I’m a beginner using ableton, how can i get my midi notes to display the key on like shown in the video? Also when i press 0 it doesn’t make the notes hollow as shown on the video it just says clip deactivated and they remain the same colour

great tutorial! Somehow my bassline doesn't sound nowhere near as good as yours, even though I really made sure to copy it to the best of my knowledge :( Could it be the EQs, I'm getting wrong?
@GetintheMix3 жыл бұрын
When creating the bass sounds it can be quite fiddly. The harmonic editor part of Operator (which you can see at 1:03) takes some fine tuning of those first couple of bars (above where it says Attack), then additionally the volume of the second oscillator can make a big difference with small movements when finetuning the sound. Hope you manage to get there!

I did use FL Studio as my main DAW up until about 2 years ago. Can't promise an FL Studio tutorial but the fundamentals on how this comes together should be transferrable to FL Studio, just with different plug-ins used of course :) - Oliver

@@GetintheMix and why did you switch? btw what headphones do you use?
@GetintheMix3 жыл бұрын
@@roikorginal Headphones are Beyerdynamic DT 880 Pros. I used FL Studio for nearly 10 years and found myself going about new projects in the same way every time, found it hard to approach making music in new ways as I was so set in a routine in FL. Not the fault of FL, just because I'd used it for so long. I liked Ableton Live's UI and the power of their stock plug-ins so figured I'd give it a go to reset my workflow and get out of the rut. Improved a lot in the process starting from square one in a new DAW again. FL Studio is great DAW and their lifetime free updates is the best, I just needed a change after the years of using it. - Ollie
