Another superb review Ron! That's a great looking case!

Good review, Ron. Looks like a solid case. In the long run, I am one who likes the compactness of the DJI cases. I like their softness and portability when walking to a site where I want to fly. But for those who like a hard case, this looks like a good one.

Great job on the review Ron! I do like the bag that came with the Air 3, probably my favorite dji case so far. But I much prefer to keep my drones in hard cases. I just received the new Lykus case and plan to do a review video on that one soon. Nicely done and thanks for posting this video!

I'm glad you enjoyed it Chris. And I got to see a Lykus bag in Florida, at the meetup. And I was very impressed with the ways you could customize it. I'm looking forward to seeing your review of the Lykus case. Thanks for watching.

Good point on mentioning the lack of the charging adapter. They are following Apple's BS, but even worse as most are not going to have a 65w/100w charging adapter laying around. Not like cell phone adapters, that is a little more understanding. I had a Mavic Pro adapter I thought I might be able to use but forgot that the usb-a out on it is only 5V. Just had to go buy one yesterday as well as a usb-c cable that supports the 100w. I know they included a short cable but while I was there I picked one up as I was unsure about it supporting 100W. More than likely would but wanted to be sure. Thanks for the Vid.

You make some good points. And I even need to buy a 100 watt charge, as my strongest charger was a 65 watt. You might never see another DJI product come with an included charging brick again. Thanks for watching.

If you want the "official" charger, to fit in a specific cutout, or just don't wanna "mix n match", then buy the LKTOP charger for $40. It IS the official DJI charger, just without the DJI branding on it. They have the charger made elsewhere, and then just have their branding slapped on, with like a 300% markup. You can buy the same thing from the same manufacturer, for less than half the price if not saying "DJI" on everything doesn't bother you. You can also buy the charger from another company or 2, but LKTOP had the cheapest price on it from what I saw.

Do you think I could fit a folded landing pad inside without hurting the drone or controller?
@RonaldBrown5910 ай бұрын
I would advise against it. Thanks for watching.

My gripe with like EVERY case is the fact that they all pretty much have a slot for a charging hub, plus 3 single battery slots. That is THE dumbest design. Why in the world would you have 6+ batteries, and only one charging dock? The dock costs nothing, you could buy like 8 for what 3 batteries cost. If you're able to fit 6+ batteries in a case, it NEEDS 2x charging dock slots. If you only have 3/4 batteries, those slots are completely wasted, due to the cutout shapes. With a charging cradle slot, at least you could put extra cables/props/straps/tools/whatever in it. It could even be a removable insert for individual battery OR the dock. Plus the charger offers dual charging capability, so you need 2 docks to get full use of it. I've actually seen cases that hold 12 batteries, a conpletely unrealistic amount for an Air 3, and still only one charging dock slot. Who designs this crap? The problem with all of these "accessories" are that even if you wanted to spend on quality gear, your only options are poorly designed chinese junk, or a different piece of poorly designed Chinese junk.
