This is probably emulated? I remember the Xbox console looking much better than this, and reflex is the best mx v atv game by far, but this is the best mx game period in my irrelevant opinion

This game was soooo fun. The air physics I remember the bike feeling so light and flickable but you could still get out of hand. And the way the rider soaks up the jumps is just beautiful. Truly a game that needs more recognition

Love this game, I remember how excited I was when I got it - I bought it out of town, so just read the manual cover over and over stil I got home and had my mind blown. Bought this game on eBay the other day for 5 bucks, hopefully it still works haha It was truly ahead of its time, and you could even do some amazing scrubs by dragging the rear brake and turning off the face of jumps.

I remember this was one of the first Moto games that was actually good. Remember also the ea sports supercross, and Jeremy mcgrath games of that era but this one was my favorite

Do you remember the game on PlayStation called vmx racing? That one was my first game on the PlayStation for mx and was a ton of fun, plus you could play the game in a cd player and listen to the music as well. Loved that back then

If you hold the power slide button right before take off on a jump and try turning, you can scrub in this game! I LOVE this game, it was soooo fun. Me and my buddy would still rip this in the past few years having INSANE battles 😂 I wish someone would make this Loretta Lynn's layout in mx bikes. Also dumb little fact, Stewart's pro pic in the game is him on an 85. And Windham was on a suzuki this year which was sick to rip him on that bike

You almost got it right with "THPS but on motorbikes" comment... except that was only one game: MTX Mototrax was supposed to be "Travis Pastrana Pro Motocross" or something along those lines until it was dropped by Activision following the failure of Shaun Palmer, Kelly Slater and specially Shaun Murray's videogames - That's why freeride areas in MTX Mototrax work like open levels did starting with THPS4, some objectives ask you to do something barely related to dirtbike riding to complete them and there are gaps you can complete for points All the other games you mentioned follow the "cover athlete" model going all the way back to the 1980s - They used the "this man I like wouldn't put his name into some trashy product" marketing trick

You should play the Ps2/Wii version of Untamed, I never see anyone talking about it. I think its a really interesting game being completely different from the PS3/360 versions and really feels like an Unleashed 1.5

never heard of him or even liked or watch mx or sx… ever! until i bought supercross 5 for ps5 because i was bored. Wonder why mx/sx aren’t more mainstream… the top riders should be superstars house hold names. i never watch nascar but everybody knows the big names. should be same for mx.

U said concussions forced him into retirement. If I remember right he got caught using PED's and was given a 16 month suspension for all of 2015. Came back for A1 in 2016, crashed his ass off and then radio silence until like 2019-2020 when he announced retirement
