So Leslie decided to re-write Star Wars history, turn Ki-Adi into a Sith sympathizer this series, say he was a Sith mole in Phantom, and was just trying to convince the Jedi that the Sith were extinct… *wipes hands* ok now I can use the Sith.

Another issue I had with the episode was when the Darkside user started approaching Osha in the forest and all the Jedi stood well behind her and made no attempt to protect her. Much like Indara did in the Cantina when Mae started attacking people and she just sat there and watched for a couple minutes before intervening. So much for the Jedi being guardians of peace and justice.

It simply *happened* with nothing to back it up aside from it just happened randomly through out the episode. The writing is terrible, the explanations are terrible, and the direction is far below subpar. Unfortunately, the show and SW in general is going in a direction that isn’t good for itself. This isn’t coming from someone hating simply to hate, this is coming from a life long fan of the franchise knowing how things *could* go and yet seeing it all be directed to simply have things happen in the hopes that they make sense when in reality they don’t until a few years later when they “explain” through either a cartoon show or some other show all together much like Bad Batch and the emperor.

The whole point of his line in TPM is that he is wrong. Also Mundi didn’t go on the mission and see the “Sith” master. I put Sith in air quotes because even if the Jedi on the mission tell the others, it is unlikely they’ll believe it is a Sith. Just a Jedi who lost his way and uses a red lightsaber. Before this the Sith would come in armies and were a massive order like the Jedi. The Jedi didn’t know of the rule of 2 at this point so it’s entirely likely that they don’t believe it’s a Sith. And even if some of them do it has been shown time and time again that Mundi is completely wrong every time he opens his mouth.
