Boba Fett's BLACK SUIT Explained (CANON)

This black suit is definitely a cool look for Boba. I hope we get to see some version of this in the Book of Boba Fett show, maybe to disguise himself or to be more stealthy. Today, let's begin a new comic series in canon, from the beginning of the run, Star Wars War of the Bounty Hunters PRELUDE.
Boba is delivering Han Solo to Jabba, however Lucasfilm has created some stories that don't lead to the easiest delivery for Boba.
Han Solo's carbonite freezing cell was breaking down, so Boba pulled over on Nar Shadaa and saw a friend to help him out.
In order for his friend to help, he needed to pay...however Boba didn't have the payment...so...he needed to do a quest for Ragon.
Boba would need to eliminate enemies of Ragon in a gladiator style arena tournament.

The black suit would definitely help explain why his armor was different colors between ESB and ROTJ. Unfortunately, it doesn't explain why he had virtually the same ROTJ in the SE-ANH.

@@bombomos Yes. These are just some of the differences between the ESB vs. ROTJ costumes: 1. Green Gauntlets vs. Red Gauntlets 2. Brown Cape vs. Green Cape 3. Vest Color 4. Spats vs. Ties 5. Gray Coveralls vs. Lt. Blue coveralls 6. EE-3 Difference. 7. Kill Stripe Colors 8. Jetpack colors 9. Different size dents between the two costumes 10. Girth belt colors 11. Ammo belt pouch numbers and configuration 12. Every piece of armor is painted differently. 13. Shoulder armor and knee armor have different base colors between the versions. 14. Colors and appearance of side belt pouches 15. Differences in the helmet (rangefinder, dental files in rear) besides different paint jobs. 16. Differences in minor details on jet packs (dental files on esb version)

I have an idea for a “what if” story. What if obi wan failed to kill General Grevious on Utapau. Maybe he would have gone to Mustafar. You can't even go by their weapons either since they all carry some variation of the same gear. He changes the color, loses the Wookie scalps and he really is just some Rando Mando
