Stas Pieha is half Pole: his grandmother Edita Pieha comes from Poland, from a small town Boguszow-Gorce near walbrzych in Lower Silesia - South-West Poland, however she was born in France, in a family of Polish emigrants who , after the World War 2 returned to Poland. Edita Pieha was one of the most popular singer in the Soviet Union and even now she still appears on the stage and is remembered by most of the Russians.
