To get a pair of socks done in a month, I'm curious about how much you knit on them in a given day? Maybe it's because I get bored so easily and feel a need to switch to different projects throughout a day I find it hard to get a pair done that quickly...sometimes I wish I could though! I tend to knit on socks in the mornings and other things later in the day...and find it takes me more like 2 months to get a pair done, and that's only if I really work at them every day. Maybe I'm just a slower knitter....

I suggest you try Knitty Natty's sock week in June or July. The idea is to knit one fingering-weigt sock in a week. You've then got an end point. That process (and I've done sock week at least four times now) has taught me that I am *capable* of knitting a pair of socks in 10 days. You don't always have to knit a pair of socks in a month, but for me, after almost two years of monthly socks (and I'm on pair 13 for 2024 in November) it's a HABIT. But knitters' choice!
