Very glad they made a Corgi with upgraded materials. I hate the back flipper and action on it though. Just keep the dog ear symmetry at the top! The action on the Corgi is so great. My Corgi V just isn't snappy. Not sure if that is the Vanchor lock or a pivot that needs to be broken in... but I have more misfires with this back flipper than any other knife and without studs or blade hole, it just kind of sucks to move it to lock position. Hopefully the go back to the double flipper ear look.

I like small knives and this one impresses me even though I haven't even received it yet. Preordered it Friday, so I hope I'm not expecting too much..

I really enjoyed the Corgi and the Pup. I think the Vanchor lock makes it even better. Loving the super clean design and the pill-shaped handle works like a small puukko in my hands - very comfortable for extended cutting . Only thing I dont like is the very shiny clip. No bother, I'll do a deep ferric chloride etch and flame colour it. Thanks for the review !

I like the blade shape better and this lock is right at home on a knife this size. It looks like something james brand would put out but I'd actually want to buy this one.

I found out it's a big problem for us Lefty I squeeze the handle and I can disengage the lock easily.. if they deeping the hole for the ceramic ball when it closes would fix this problem because you can disengage it with no pressure at all almost.. and I think by just deeping in the hole would make the difference on this knife... Easy🧐🤔

Tbh the loss of symmetry is a deal breaker😂 super silly but that was one of my fav parts of the design and what put one in my pocket. Vosteed does like their odd flippers tho

I love my Corgi and Corgi Pup but no lefty love on this one is a dealbreaker… I can see why they dropped it though - looks super clean without a filler piece. Enjoy, righties…

The Volsteed Cordi V looks like the HEA Designs Elixir V2, but slightly designed better with a raised jimped top flipper👍

I got one. I’m not happy with the action. Worst action of any Vosteed knife I’ve used. I ordered some KPL lube, but I think this is a pass.
