A little history lesson for those who slept on Shady-Aftermath when they was still puttin' out underground ish back in 2003, through 2006, there are only 3 artists with lucrative deals on multiple labels on Interscope, The Game, having been signed to G-Unit/Aftermath, being a Doc Dre protégé is one. The other two are the ONLY artists to have been signed to both Shady Records and Aftermath, is of course the Eminem protégé, 50 Cent, and last but not least, Stat Quo. These are the only two artists who are actually considered EMINEM protégés, who worked exclusively with Dr. Dre. There are other artists who worked closely with Dre from G-Unit, like Young Buck, (his sound resembled Dre influence with a Tennessee-southern twist) whilst it seemed as though Banks and Yayo had a pretty close musical relationship to Em. It can be heard in their music who influenced who. Same with Stat Quo, his flows, southern-drawl and rhymes have some Em inspiration, while the Beats he uses are definitely ATL, but with some of Dre's west-coast stamp on it.
