@@ThuNguyen-mj9sk Hi thu! I watched all ms. diane’s videos very religiously over and over again to remember all the steps. I also read the Milady’s cosmetology book and I also paid the PSI online 100 question exam test and practiced those questions. I also watched a lots of cosmetology test question videos on KZbin to prepare. When u arrive to the testing site make sure u have cash to pay for parking if your taking the test in Glendale. Make sure when u do practical that u always sanitize your hands all the time. I wish u all the best and just keep calm don’t get nervous and do your best! 😊 u got this💪🏼

I purchased a kit and the containers came filled already (you can fill them with the products you use at school). How many towels depends on what and how you are using them, I have my students go through the procedures and take notes on what they are using.

Ms. Diane can I ask is there a specific dress code when taking the practical cosmetology test in California? I tried to see and look for the instructions how to dress to the test but couldn’t find the answer in the guide that was sent with the practical test date. 😅

You don’t have to wear a lab coat anymore, they said dress modestly and comfortable, I tell my students to wear all black, they already have it because it is what we have to wear as are uniform for school, this is not the time to make a fashion statement, unless you want all eyes 👀 on you

Hi Ms Diane Im confused about the towels.. is it okay to have towels in our kits like haircutting and all the other different procedures or are we only allowed to have all the towels in a bag on the table at all times?

@Diane Gallegos Do you think that the state board panel made a big deal about the bags being labeled? Because I do. The labeling of the bag is NOT for them, it's a simple checklist for the student to ensure that they have all of their products and supplies. BTW are you on Facebook? Derek I tell my students once you have watched my videos put them to practice, it’s not enough to just watch them, practice them in the order of the exam and time yourself, if you can do it in the time given great move on, if not practice till you can. As for the written study the small exam book you get with your textbook, that’s something you already have. Last thing breathe you got this!

You are correct, they no longer have to be sealed

I am not sure what your asking, the towels need to stay in the bag until you need them along with the other items in individual bags, you do take all setup items out after sanitizing, leave extras items in container
