honestly this game was really good both teams seemed to be well coached the biggest difference i could find in the teams is that red had quite a bit more size but weddington wanted it more because both teams look good.

edit onto this as well weddingtons defensive line is nothing to mess with and providence days receiving core is huge. definently thing providence day could have had more more of a balanced attack on offense.

Congrats to Weddington. Well deserved. PD? I don’t know of another team in the country that underperforms as much as they do, with the athletes they have. They have the players to be in the national Top 25 discussion (a 5-star, three 4-stars and two 3-stars), but they are content with playing sub par competition pre-league, when they should be playing a game or two each season against perennial regional powers like Dutch Fork, Buford, Grayson, the DMV schools, et al. So once they go up against a stout opponent like Weddington, they fold; even though on paper they’re superior. My alma mater (Mater Dei) is only playing a 9-game season bc so few teams will play them. PD needs to give MD a call. Yes they would lose, but they’d learn a ton about next level football, assuming that’s where they want to end up. Peace.
